The main objective of this programme is to prepare students for the IELTS assessment. The course provides a solid grounding in the key language and skills needed for IELTS success through modules designed to cover the following IELTS assessment areas: Writing, Reading, Listening and Reading. The curriculum consists of foundational skills needed for the assessment areas stated above and will branch into intensive preparation for either academic or general assessment modes.

Course Admission Requirements:Student should be at least 15 years old. Score 40% or more for Touchstone International Institute Upper Secondary English Placement Exam.
Course Commencement Period:In the first week of every month

Mode of Assessment
Internal Assessment:Quarterly Assessment Tests will be conducted.
External Assessment:Students can register for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) administered by British Council, Singapore.
Course CompletionStudents may take the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) administered by British Council, Singapore.
Requirement for Course CompletionStudents must achieve at least 90% attendance and not be absent for more than 7 consecutive days without valid reason.
Type of QualificationAn IELTS Test Report Form will be awarded by International English Language Testing System (IELTS) upon successful completion of IELTS exam.
The 3 (three) types of fee chargeable by TSI are:
Application FeeA one-time application fee is non – refundable. Payment modes: Cash, cheque, remittance/telegraphic transfer, bank draft, cashier’s order. Payable to: Touchstone International Institute Pte Ltd.
Course FeesThe Committee for Private Education (CPE) has regulatory provisions and requirements to protect course fees that are payable by students who are enrolled in a private education institution (PEI).
TSI subscribes to these regulatory provisions and requirements in its collection of fees from full-time students.
