Preparatory Course for Admission to Government Schools (Primary 2 – 5) / (Secondary 1 – 3) (3 months)

Course Information:

The aim of the course is to prepare foreign students for the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) and Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS) examinations administered by the Ministry of Education (Singapore) for admissions into various government primary mainstream schools in Singapore.

This course is designed for International Students who will be coached to prepare for the AEIS & S-AEIS examinations usually held respectively in September and February each year.

Courses are conducted according to the latest syllabuses specified by the Ministry of Education, Singapore.

    Course Commencement Period:

    Mode of Assessment

    Internal Assessment:

    Final Assessment Tests will be conducted.

    External Assessment:

    Students can register for the AEIS (Admission Exercise for International Students) in September or S-AEIS (Supplementary-Admission Exercise for International Students) in February for admission to Singapore Government Schools organised by the Ministry of Education, Singapore.

    Course Completion

    Students may take the AEIS (Admission Exercise for International Students) in September or the S-AEIS (Supplementary-Admission Exercise for International Students) in February for admission to Singapore Government Schools organised by the Ministry of Education, Singapore.

    Requirement for Course Completion

    Students must achieve at least 90% attendance and not be absent for more than 7 consecutive days without valid reason.

    The 3 (three) types of fee chargeable by TSI are:

    Application Fee

    A one-time application fee is non – refundable. Payment modes: Cash, cheque, remittance/telegraphic transfer, bank draft, cashier’s order.
    Payable to: Touchstone International Institute Pte Ltd.

    Course Fees

    The Committee for Private Education (CPE) has regulatory provisions and requirements to protect course fees that are payable by students who are enrolled in a private education institution (PEI).
    Fee collection schedule is as indicated in individual student’s contract.
    The course fee is refundable and will be subjected to TSI refund policy.
    Payment modes: Remittance/telegraphic transfer, bank draft, cashier’s order or cheque
