Course Information:

The Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) is a widely international qualification that is recognised by leading universities and employers worldwide, and is an international passport to progression and success.

Touchstone International Institute has specially designed an effective Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) to prepare both local and international students for the Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) examination administered by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). Through our customised and intensive programme, students will be equipped with knowledge and skills needed to meet the standards for passing the Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) examination. The aim is to ensure that students eventually gain their university degrees that will aid their entry into the working world.

The subjects that are taught follow the CAIE’s Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level syllabuses closely.

Course Duration:

  • Cambridge International Examinations (Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level) (12 months) – 12 months, 5 weekdays, 6 hours daily
  • Cambridge International Examinations (Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level)  (24 months) – 24 months, 5 weekdays, 6 hours daily

Course Commencement Period:

At the beginning of every month. Students commencing their course after August may only be registered for the Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) examination in the following year.

Face-to-face classroom lesson and Blended Mode

Mode of Assessment

Internal Assessment

Quarterly Assessment Tests will be conducted for all modules indicated above.

External Assessment

Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) examination conducted in June annually.

Course Completion

Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) examination.

Requirement for Course Completion

Students must achieve at least 90% attendance and not be absent for more than 7 consecutive days without valid reason

Type of Qualification

Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) certificate awarded by university of Cambridge Assessment International Education after successful completion of the Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level) examinations.

The 3 (three) types of fee chargeable by TSI are:

Application Fee
A one-time application fee is non – refundable.
Payment modes: Cash, cheque, remittance/telegraphic transfer, bank draft, cashier’s order.
Payable to: Touchstone International Institute Pte Ltd.

Course Fees
The Council for Private Education (CPE) has regulatory provisions and requirements to protect course fees that are payable by students who are enrolled in a private education institution (PEI).

Fee collection schedule is as indicated in individual student’s contract

The course fee is refundable and will be subjected to TSI refund policy.
